POWER FACTOR CORRECTION
In addition to the connection point, industrial facilities are very interested in the stability of their own power network. Power factor correction is typically implemented as close to the point of consumption as possible. The existing cables and transformers are enough, when the internal power network is only charged with active power. Direct savings can be created with smaller dimensions of the power network and the equipment.
IN POWER QUALITY
Unexpected equipment damage, premature breakage and malfunctions are often caused by power quality problems. TKF investigates harmonics and other power quality issues, if necessary. Annual maintenance of the power factor correctors and having a professional check the suitability of the equipment is recommended, especially in connection with changes to the power network.
